In case you missed it, British Columbia issued 481 invitations to apply (ITA) under their Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) last September 17, 2019.

British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP)
Take note, at present, all BCPNP streams require a job offer from a British Columbia employer. As such, you might want hit the job market sites/boards if you really want to migrate to BC.
If you are in IT, you might want to check out the BCPNP Tech Pilot stream. This stream, still under BCPNP, provides faster and priority processing for applicants with experience from their list of 29 eligible occupations.
You still need a job offer to apply under the BCPNP Tech Pilot stream. However, it will motivate you in your job hunting and application for BC-based jobs knowing that your occupation is in-demand in the province.
Good luck! Hopefully you’ll be one of the lucky few recipients of the BCPNP invitations to apply to the program.
